Assalamualaikum and greetings to everyone .

Allow me to express my gratitude to the Almighty for giving me blessings in life and also to my beloved MEDTECH family.

As you all know, our motto is ‘Enhancing professionalism’ and this reflects our  daily life, mainly in our work ethics in one of the main clubs in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).

MEDTECH has known and recognized for their works in media and technical areas, not forgetting providing excellent men power for major and minor events in the university such as Minggu Aluan Siswa (MAS) and ConvoFair.

In order to increase our professionalism, the next step for us is to develop our own MEDTECH website.

Through the website, it will act as a platform for us to express and promote our work, services and credibility in handling our job.

With the aid and hard work of the Web Team from Creative Multimedia Department (CMD), we finally achieved that target.

With great minds in our MEDTECH family, I believe that we will utilize our website to further enhance our potential as well as to showcase our talents in various aspects of media and technical.

Registering the club known as MEDTECH (stands for Media and Technology Club / Kelab Media dan Teknologi) and creating a logo for official use were the few first steps in promoting the club with Mr. Meor Mohamad Zamil Meor Hussein as the advisor. MEDTECH also comprises of the Media Crew to assist the media department in organizing all kind of activities. However, only a few of the club members will be selected to join this elite team, based on certain criteria.

Until these days, MEDTECH has organized many event and activities in UTP, and also, MEDTECH also responsible in assisting activities that need our expertise. Many tours have been planned that can enhance the knowledge among the members to produce a quality and professional MEDTECH team. To date, MEDTECH has established 5 deparments, namely HICOM (stands for High Committees), ECON (stands for Economy Department), PR (stands for Public Relations Department), CREW Development, and CMD (stands for Creative Multimedia Department).

A main training ground for producing well-rounded student and consultant in managing student activities.

Mission

• To produce well-quality members who are capable in handling media facilities.

• To encourage students in handling media equipment.

• To build relationship and interaction among students through the activities

• To assist IT & Media Services(ITMS) Department in coordinating  events.

• To produce competitive and responsible students through the event coordinated.

• Provide technical support and consultation for UTP students’ events.

• Provide multimedia production services, montage, video, photograph, and video editing to UTP and outside parties.

• Provide audio visual system handling in any UTP event.?
